Darfur is a mess, never more so than now. I don't really write much about politics and the world order as much as I would like to, but after sitting down a few minutes ago listening to New Orleans Jazz Funk drumming legend Idris Muhammad's Sudan from his excellent 1976 album House of The Rising Sun and watching Darfur/Sudan related news on the TV over the last couple of days, I had the urge to post a two minute sample of this stunning 11 minute classic.
